Scope

With this data protection declaration, you as a user receive information about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of your data by ARCO IT  and integrated data processors (providers).

Collection of general information

With each access to our offer, information is automatically collected by us or the provider. This information, also known as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you.

These include: name of the displayed website, file, date, amount of data, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our offer) and the stored IP address.

Without this data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the contents of the website. In this respect, the collection of data is absolutely necessary. In addition, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. They help us to optimize the offer and the technology.

Handling personal data

Definition: Personal data is any information that clearly identifies a person. This is data that can be traced back to a person. This personal data includes the first name and name, telephone number and e-mail address. Personal data also applies to information on websites that have been accessed. This data will only be collected and used if you confirm this by consent, for example in the case of e-mail correspondence or on a website.

Registration on our website

If you register on our website or an event service we use to use personalized services, personal data will be collected. This includes the name, address, telephone number and e-mail address as a means of contact and communication. The registration allows access to services and content that are only available to registered users. On request, we will inform you which personal data have been collected and stored. In addition, we correct or delete the data on request, provided that your request does not conflict with any legal retention obligations. For inquiries as well as your request for correction or deletion of the data, please use the contact details mentioned in this data protection declaration above. In
order to ensure the security of your data during transmission, we work with encryption methods (such as SSL) over HTTPS, which reflect the current state of the art.

Comments

If comments or other contributions are written and published on our website, we store the IP address, the username and the time of creation. This data is collected for security reasons, as we can be prosecuted for illegal content (prohibited propaganda, insults, etc.). In such a case, the information is used to determine the identity of the author.

Blog-Subscription

When users subscribe to the blog notification offer, they receive a confirmation email. With this e-mail we ensure that the user is actually the owner of the said e-mail address. You can always stop the blog subscription. You will receive information about this together with the confirmation e-mail or in each notification.

Newsletter & E-Mail Notification

If you sign up for our newsletter or an email notification, we will use the information you have entered solely for this purpose or to inform you of the relevant circumstances for this service or registration. We do not share this data with third parties.

A valid (valid) e-mail address is required to receive the newsletter. It also stores the IP address through which you sign up for the newsletter and the date on which you subscribe to the newsletter. This data is used as proof of misuse if a third-party e-mail address is registered for the newsletter. In order to ensure that an e-mail address is not improperly entered into our mailing list by third parties, we work in accordance with the law with the so-called “double opt-in” procedure. As part of this procedure, the order of the newsletter, the sending of the confirmation e-mail and the receipt of the registration confirmation are logged. You have the option to revoke your consent to the storage of the data, your e-mail address and their use for the sending of the newsletter at any time.

For the revocation, we provide you with a link in each newsletter. You also have the option to inform us of your revocation request via the above-mentioned contact options.

When you contact us via the online form or by e-mail, we will store the information you provide in order to answer your request and to ask possible follow-up questions.

Integration of third-party services and content

Our offer sometimes includes the content, services and services of other providers. These include maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube, and graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be accessed and displayed in the user’s browser, the transmission of the IP address is absolutely necessary. The providers (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) thus perceive the IP address of the respective user. Although we make every effort to use only third-party providers who only need the IP address in order to be able to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. In this case, this operation is used, among other things, for statistical purposes. If we are aware that the IP address is stored, we would like to inform our users.
